  4. Nutrition—plant-based diet and mediterranean diets are recommended. Avoid certain foods to maximize nutrition outcomes
  5. Address your sleep hygiene to improve the quality and quantity of your sleep
  6. Consider powerful lifestyle changes—don’t use tobacco products and eliminate or reduce alcohol consumption
  7. Explore mental health resources such as individual and group counseling, peer mentoring and yoga/mindfulness/reiki programs
  8. Take the medications your oncologist prescribes and if you are struggling with side effects, find ways to manage the side effects, collaborate with your oncology team
