What happens at a survivorship visit?

During this survivorship or wellness visit (which is typically longer than a surveillance visit), the provider will review the following:

• Treatment history — a review of all providers, surgeries, chemotherapy drugs, radiation treatments, immunotherapy and prescribed medications 
•  Future care plan — summary of next steps in your treatment plan. This might include conversation around surveillance appointments, screening for primary and secondary cancers, lifestyle changes, vaccinations, diet changes, exercise, specialists, sexual health, physical therapy and more
