After Cancer, Inc. is honored to announce that we have been awarded a 2025 Pfizer/NCCN Quality Improvement (QI) Grant to support our project, After Cancer Patient and Provider Training – Sexual Health in Metastatic Breast Cancer.
This grant funding will help expand our work to address the sexual health and intimacy challenges faced by individuals navigating metastatic breast cancer (mBC). The project includes a national pilot program that will engage oncology providers and patients across the country.
Through this initiative, After Cancer will develop:
- A specialized 30-Second Message training for oncology providers and care teams on addressing sexual health in cancer care.
- A patient-centered course focused on understanding sexual health side effects and navigating intimacy after cancer
- A mixed-methods evaluation plan to better understand needs and impact among both patients and care teams nationally
All project content and activities are developed independently by After Cancer, Inc.
We look forward to producing a valuable resource for patients and oncology care teams on navigating the sexual health challenges related to metastatic breast cancer.
